You really should bring one or two along to the What If SIG stand.

Quote from: Weaver on November 04, 2023, 01:52:25 PMThat's very good of you Colin - hats off to you.

Sadly I won't be at Telford again this year for various reasons, but I stand by what I said earlier: I will be buying several sets of both the SRAAMs and the Sabres as soon as they hit your website. I'd be up for Radar Red Tops too, if you could see your way clear to releasing them as a separate set.

No problem Weaver, sorry you can't make it. I hope to get the Radar Red Tops re-issued again soon, and have plenty of SRAAMs and the Sabres to go on the website probably the week after SMW.

Rolead

I will be setting up on our IPMS Kent this Friday so will stop by with a couple for the What If stand.

Robert

Quote from: Freightdog862 on October 20, 2023, 05:48:13 AMThese are a re-issue of the TSR.2 Interceptor, and a brand new TSR.2 Trainer conversion.

The trainer set has a new duel cockpit tub and rear panel/stick & pedals.  A replacement vacform main canopy has been produced by Rob Taurus, a spare canopy is provided for the cack-handed  ;)

Morning all,

Following-on from Colin's earlier TSR2 trainer news, I enclose photos of one under construction and the contents of the conversion set itself (less canopy).

The set slots nicely into the Airfix kit, and is a great starting point to all sorts of single canopy Eagle Whiffery.  I've added some different bang seats and the rear instruments I've adapted from a CMK detail set.

I shall be doing more!!

* All modelling deficiencies modeller's own!

PS.  I can't seem to change the Imgur settings to share.  Pse bear with me at this difficult time..

That's imgur though and I only know how to use Flicker. There may be a sticky about how to post pictures from imgur but as I don't use it I have no idea if there is or not.

Not much help this time Colin

As long as fellow Wiffers can see the piccies, then that'll do - at least for now.  Capability delivered😁!

My congratulations to Rolead and PR19_Kit on winning Saturday's unofficial competition for best Freightdog build on the table. Both well deserved, there were many other suitable candidates on show, but Kits Eagle Spitfire and Robert's AEW Buccaneer stood out. Thanks also for Dominic for co-judging with me.

And thanks for judging me a winner Colin, I'm very grateful.  ;D

I still can't quite see how that Spitfire is so popular, but I'll take anything that comes its way.  ;D  ;D  ;D

A quick note to say that my new TSR.2 Trainer and Interceptor conversion sets are now listed on my website. Canopies arrived last week from Rob Taurus.

Thanks,
