I had a very good time which seemed to fly by way too fast. It was great to see so many of the SIG, some for the first time. My feet ache, my back hurt and my bank account is in agony!

Lots of excellent models out there, a veritable mountain of kits begging to be purchased and fun was had

Let's do it all again next year!  :drink:

IPMS Nationals will be in Madison Wisconsin next year not far from me. My wallet will take a beating.

I hear that! Going to be one hell of an expensive time. If I manage to go, we'll have to meet up some time.
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

Madison isn't that far from Chicago. Easy enough to fly there from the UK, hire a car and visit a load of stuff nearby too.

Mods: Is it worth moving the US Nats into their own thread?

I can certainly split the topic and start a new one for the US Nationals, however it will have to wait until I'm completely clear of this cold as the process is a little fiddly at the best of times let alone when I'm feeling like I've a ten ton weight on my shoulders.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
