That SR P.127 is a MONSTER, difficult to think of it as a fighter of any sort.  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I think it was an ernest effort to usher in the 70s oil crisis a few years early. Britain was probably lucky it was too skint to build them as Russia could have brought the country to breakdown just by sending a couple of Bears nosing around and then waiting for the QRA fuel bill to arrive at the Treasury

You'll be pleased to note that the rain is lashing at the windows so I'll be at it again today then

Looks superb so far.

Will the overwing rocket boosters be separate parts?  Bit early to ask, I know, and I know separate means more work, but it would give the end user more flexibility if they are.
And definitely separate u/c legs a la the big AW thing.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thanks, I had more of a play with it refining the cockpit, intake and exhausts so it has moved on a smidge. Not huge changes but they all help. Point taken about the boosters so they are now split into upper and lower halves.

Weather is rather nicer today so I'm going to go get some fresh air while the going is good but next steps are wheels, alternative missile shoes and control surfaces. Then I might start thinking about printable sections and bugging you about what colour scheme you are going to do it in

First one would be an overall Sky prototype.  I was tempted with a three tone grey scheme and 65 Sqn markings.  I'd have to have more of a think really.  My head's not in an RAF space at the minute.

One squadron, right?!  Overall high speed silver and 56 Sqn red & white Firebird checks, perchance?
