Just two more from me.
I took the pictures near the end of the show. Earlier it was too busy to get a clear shot  <_<

Tom managed to get us six tables this year. Being part of the team that organizes the ESM has its perks.

TomZ

#17
If you look at the rules we could have gotten 15 tables in all.  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D
All of us are IPMS member and member get a maximum of 5 tables for display purposes for free.
We could have requested the tables to be grouped together. Normally those requests are granted.

Reading the rules has its advantages

In order to fill 15 tables next year we would definitely have to finish all those shelve queens!!!

I could fill my Volvo 850 Estate with all mine too.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

I was just thinking the same. It's a 6 hour drive with ferry.

Preliminary discussion on Sunday ?  ;D

Absolutely. Put it on the agenda.
I was looking at Eurostar but have just seen that services will be disrupted next year June to December. The Passport area at Amsterdam is being replaced so you have to travel to Brussels to be processed for onward travel to London.

See you Sunday

If only there was some way crossing the channel could be as easy as crossing a European land border...
 ;)

Good pics.  Thanks for sharing.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Yup, but on a couple of occasions that little strip of water has proved quite useful  ;)  ;D

ISTR travelling from Waterloo station to Bruxelles Gare du Nord on the Eurostar and only having to show a UK driving licence (the old paper one - no photo) as ID.

I can remember travelling from Waterloo to Paris a few times for business and not having to show anything. I had my passport with me, but didn't need to show it.

Mind you I can remember travelling to the Continent as a kid and my parents very seldom had to show passports. I always had to show mine because the Immigration people wanted to make sure I as a 7 year old had a really clear stamp in it  ;D

UK immigration on the way back however

Before Hungary joined the EU, I once had a 4-hour wait at Customs traveling back from a holiday there. The other extreme was passing the Germany-Netherlands border at 180 km/h coming off the unlimited Autobahn.
