The Bf-109 Project - Spanish 109s

As part of my 1/72 Bf-109 Project I present to you the Spanish 109s


HA-1109J / BF-109J: Bf-109 with Hispano Suiza engine, also designated Bf-109J


HA-1009 J1L: Hispano Suiza engoned 109 based on the Bf-109


HA-1009 K1L: Hispano Suiza engoned 109 based on the Bf-109 but with refined cowling


HA-1110 K1L: Two seat trainer version of the HA-1109K1L


HA-1111: projected trainer version of the HA-1109 with tip tanks


HA-1112M1L: Powered by a Rolls Royce Merlin engine


HA-1112M4L: Two seat trainer version of the HA-112M1L


Messerstang: HA-1112M1L made to look like a USAAF Mustang for the movie "Patton"

I think they all look good but that Messerstang really stands out.

Mine is not finished by far. The aim is 109 times 109 at the end but it might be even more.....

109 x 109 = 11881 (that's nigh on 34% of the production run of all real 109s and Avia/Hispano derivatives!), so you've got a very busy 32.55 years of building one model a day, Tom!!

Decided to take early retirement after Telford, then? 😉

I meant a total number of 109 models of the 109.........
But now you say it..... 35.000? Why not?
I just have go to reach an age of 265 years.....

The late secretary of my 'local' club, The Cardiff Plastic Aeroplane Club, was nuts about F-104s, and some particular anniversary for the 104 he put on a show of 104 104s!
