Honestly, Boeing should have offered them up in OD over light grey to the Air Force.

I've just had an Atlas 400M travelling very rapidly over Chateau Rheged,  Eastwards out of Wales at about 500 feet.

I hope it conformed to the blanket 20 mph speed limit when inside Welsh airspace...............

Doubt it, the fact it didn't is probably why it was scurrying along at 500' hoping not to be noticed by the local Plod  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

That reminds me, I saw one on the Tuesday after SMW. It was flying northwest at low level over Ludlow. I saw it from inside Ludlow Castle. I wonder if it was heading for the Mach Loop?

And at 5 to 7 pm, another one exceedingly low and flying East.

An F/A-18C shaped grey spot at the bottom of a lighter grey cloud.

I suppose the time was between 11:00 and 11:01 AM. It was scheduled to overfly the war graves at the nearest churchyard, in honor of Finland's 106th Indepence Day.

I was outside at the right time to see a first for me. A Cirrus Vision jet took off from somewhere near Zenrat, flew over to where I am, did a high speed beat up of my local airport and flew on back again. I must say that it has a interesting and nice look to it.

Driving past the old RAF Scampton today I saw four aircraft in tarps at the end of the runway. I could see a Su-22 and Phantom, the others were hidden.

Turns out they're ex German F-4F and SU-22 M4.  The one I couldn't see was a Buccaneer and there's a Hunter T.7 too.

Also drove past RAF Littering and saw the Harrier GR.9 gate guard.  Needs a little love and care.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Wittering needs a little love and care really, considering how important it is in the VSTOL world.

We went to Duxford y'day to see the 'Spies in the Sky' exhibit, which was superb, but during the day there was a 'medical emergency' which closed the cafe there, and needed two normal ambulances AND this one!  :o

Must have been some serious emergency, and I hope the patient(s) are OK now.
