Now some of you guys might remember that ive chaged a few things with the original layout of this build .
You'll remember that the Tiger tank is now a SPG and thats got to be finished and i hacked the hell out of the dio itself.
I wasnt happy with the concrete blocks or how high this sat ...well since then i have had other thoughts about the layout .
It's got to be made longer and wider ,.,kinda using Kit's second rule here  ;D
To get the layout i want it has to be about 80mm wider and about 100mm longer ...this is just to balance the layout better once the machines and men are added to it .

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Oh fantastic... so glad you are getting back to this one  ;D

Cheers Buzzy mate 👍
This one is gonna be epic compared to the old one..far better block work ..im going to make each one and not just scribe em into plaster .
I've also got alot better at ground work too and can't wait to try some of the things I've learned ☺️

Still trying to think of a camo paint scheme for the Tiger SPG ...needs to be very cool but not a copy of a genuine WW2 German camouflage design.
I do have something in mind though for the

Had some strange luck today and it's one of those situations you wouldn't have even thought about .
I was destroying a monster glass doored commercial beer fridge here at the camp today ..it was full of copper and aluminum and of course it's all got value with the scrap man so I'm pulling this apart properly.
Well it was gutted..and all I had to do was then turn this into a flat pac ...so I smashed it into 4 large pieces..once that was done I needed to be able to bend these large pieces in half so I started to remove this thick polystyrene and bingo guys..extreme high density polystyrene   ;D  ;D  ;D
I been hunting this stuff down like a bounty hunter hunting down a massive payday .
It's 50mm thick and it's also known as XPS foam and ivd been needing this for this diorama and now my plans can start

In this case Chris..very much so  ;D  ;D
I want to widen this dio to get a better balance as everything was to centered and to rebuild that side I needed that foam..got that sorted now 👍

Ken mate it is
And only one cut on my left hand after all that carnage..a most excellent result..oh its a little tiny cut to ..so great 😊

I was installing a new stainless steel sink in my mom's kitchen last week and came away with what looked like paper cuts on my hands. Minor but weird. Don't know how it happened but if that's all I'll take it.
That diorama could be real interesting!

I've broken up fridges and freezers in my time.  Obviously you captured all the refrigerant appropriately and didn't just bust a pipe and stand back.  Ahem.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Ken been there before..stainless steel sinks are extremely sharp..the edges can be like a razor and you will hardly feel any cuts and unless you really cock it up 😆
Then you can end up sliced and diced ..ask me how I know   ;D

Nope Fred..didn't do that ..well didn't do some of that ..that's the reason it was being ripped to bits the best i can figure...the refrigerants must have been the issue..the amount of escaping gas was equivalent to a very gentle butt burp ..once the compressor was removed then the real destruction began   ;D

Probably didn't work anymore because the refrigerants were already gone.
Lots of good metals to scrap in those.

There was some gas still in it but nothing worth worrying about so I didn't  ;D
Even though all that scrap goes to the guys beer fund at the end of the yr I don't drink so don't care to be honest..im more than chuffed with the foam ..that's saved me a heap of annoyances trying to find it and best of all ...free
