So, how "crap" is "crap"?
It can be defined in a multitude of ways dependent on the whims and fancies of the individual. Which, makes it a very subjective description at best.
In general, I always ignore reviews, particularly the serial manufacturer hater (i e all (insert) kits are "crap") ones on the likes of YouTube etc.
Only way to really know is to build the kit itself. Having no knowledge of the above kit, I make no comment but, if presented with one, I'd certainly do the best I could out of what was in the  box.
In some ways, I find that a lot of kits that people describe as "crap" are actually the most enjoyable.

I wouldn't use the word "enjoyment" with Unicraft, but there is certainly a sense of achievement when you finish one
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

;D Well, I'm not familiar with the Unicraft brand so, I cannot really comment but, I get the drift! .I've got several old Lindberg kits in the cupboard. They are widely decried and, denounced as "crap" but, there's a lot of fun to be had whipping them into shape. Certainly great potential on a site like this. ;)

In some instances a 'crap' kit, if it's still the only game in town for a particular subject*, is worth a go; just be aware you'll expend more time and effort than on a newer, less problem-plagued kit.

As has been stated, you can always use it (or bits of it) as a starting point for something completely different.

*Granted these are getting fewer, but all the gaps haven't been filled yet.
