Looks like it goes together quite nicely & easily.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

You lucky bugger, you.  I've been trying now for over 15 years to purchase one of these but usually been outbid.   :banghead:  :banghead:

I was searching one year ago in a german Aeroplane Forum and some other places. And found both different kits in some weeks for a very friendly price .

We also had some Mail contact to the daughter of Mr.Tank here in Germany, she was in India at that time with here Family .

Oh nice one: I've been saying for years that this deserves an injection-moulded kit. Maybe now that you've committed to building a resin Marut, AZ or somebody will come out with one next week!

There must be a market for a Airfix or Tamiya kit,  millions of people in India . Somewhere in the future ?

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

How many modellers are there in India though?

Special Hobby thought it was worth doing the Ajeet, and the single-seat Gnat market outside of Britain, India, Finland and the Hot-Shots fandom can't have been huge, so I live in hope that they'll follow it up with a Marut. Much more likely them than Airfix.

I've been screaming for a Marut kit every week since forever! But injection molded for me.

If I recall correctly, the Indian Air Force day on ARC is well represented each year. Well, 'twas when SBARC was maintaining it. And India is projected to have the largest middle-class population in the world in a few years. Out of a population of 1.4 billion, there should be a few modelers.
