Y'know, that backwards-mounted tropical filter is a nice bit of detailing... I will have to remember that - though not necessarily for a 109...

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Every little detail is nice for some sweet spots with aging and Drypaint...  This part will become a good exhaust for some dirt   instead of the original use .
And there where some small holes in the fuselage to cover.

Many years ago, now, StarShipModeler had a Challenge: to build "something SciFi" from a Bf-109.  Scale & number of kits used to be at the builders' discretion.  There were a number of very interesting and very good entries.
Mine was this thing:

The 'work to' drawing

Sorry for the trip down my own Memory Lane - this was all mostly to say, I'm keeping an eye on this one.  :)
Thistle dew, Pig - thistle dew!

Where am I going?  And why am I in a handbasket?

What is "black chrome" really? Maybe a dark and shiny grey?

You're welcome, and that's very nice , thank you for showing !

I did some experiments with washing for the complete color , silver is a perfect base for it .

Unfortunately we had to travel over the days ,  health problem in the Family, so i am far away from my model work .

Black chrome should be a very deep and glossy black ?

With a hint of metallic to it.

I think the Vallejo colour in the Soviet Silver Darts set* would work.

*Probably available by itself, too.

Hope the family issues are resolved speedily and happily.

Thx , tomorrow the man would be driven to the doc to check the heart and kardio data

I have looked around for some impressions, and i have some ideas for my future ways of Paint .   Checking a lot of possibilities of thinner for different products , the new GAME COLOR line of Valejo are very good i think , i have some of them at home and everyone of them worked very well .

But also classic Revell enamel gives a very impressiv result as washing with the right combination of thinner...
