I don't normally bother looking at WWII luftstuffe, but a navalised Brewster Buffalo is something that I'm surprised I haven't seen before. Wish I had thought of it!  ;D Good job and a good idea!

EDIT: Just entered it for a Whiffie!

Erm, the Buffalo was designed for the US Navy and it initially won the contract that later went to the Wildcat.

It was ordered by the French but the order went to the UK after France surrendered. It's one that would be interesting in Vichy markings.

Aware of the US Navy thingy, but I don't think it was ever deployed on a carrier. And I thought you hated Vichy aircraft?!  ;D

At the very least, USMC Buffalos flew from carriers. It isn't quite clear to me if they flew combat missions from carriers.

Also, it seems that the USMC Buffalo pilots at Midway were outnumbered, inexperienced, and using inferior tactics:

Germany had pairs of mutually supporting aircraft figured out from the beginning.

I hate collaborators, yes.  But if someone else did it, one without scruples or conscience...  It could be interesting.

In my story about the Arado, the BMW 801 was supposed to be installed from the A-2 onwards.
