The Wooksta!

Alleycat were very good at taking your money and glacially slow at delivery.  I've heard countless horror stories and the owner always had various sob stories as to why this was the case. So much so, my heart almost bled purple fairy urine, considering I was one of those on the receiving end of his stellar customer service - 3 months to reply to an email??

The only excuse I didn't hear was that the dog ate the orders.

Doesn't have the missile but i'm not bothered.  Will sit nicely next to the Globemaster I have yet to build.

Probably RW RAAF.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Pity you can't get a 144th Airwolf to tuck underneath it when it's parked.

First arrivals of the year from Superhobby...

Hasegawa 1/48 F-86F and A-7D/E, both fro RW PoAF builds... Well, the A-7 may have to be a "light" Whif if, i can't find a conversion set for the A/B intake with the 2 Colt 20mm cannons...

On top of the F-86's box is a set of Brengun 1/72 Two stage supercharger Merlin engines for my Tamiya Mossie and the Quickboost 1/72 30mm Defa cannons will probably be used on a Whif Phantom.

Couple of things in the mail today.
A set of Trumpeter 35th scale KV/JS workable tracks.
The Revell M1A2 Abrams Snap Tite and a 35th scale   Trumpeter M1A2 Abrams with a mine roller ...both so cheap saying no would've been stupid.
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .

Just came back form a friends place with:

1/72 Airfix HS125 Dominee; part assembled, but all complete and cheap.

And a 1/72 Aeroclub Curtiss Electric propeller for a P-47. Happy to find this Hen's Tooth, as I am in the midst of sorting out the various Thunderbolt projects...

Indeed!
Annoying that Aeroclub are now completely out of production... so many cheap-but-good bits.

The Wooksta!

Willie gave me a CMK Blohm und Voss P.170.  It may even be the one he got from me twenty years back when I cleared out a lot of Luftwaffe stuff.  Thinking about re-engining it with either Jumo 213s or Jumo 222s.

There's a few other part starts promised, but I'll announce when/if they arrive.
