Arrived from Germany last night, a Marksman Turret from ModellTransBau. It's resin and it looks good.

Ordered on 16th December, arrived 5th January. For an international delivery over Christmas that's a good turnaround.

Should go well on a Challenger hull. I see it as a Challenger 1 chassis refurbished to run alongside the new Challenger 2 fleet in the late 1990s.

I have not the faintest idea what these items are, but if you are pleased with them, then I am pleased that you now have them!

Couple of eBay wins

Revell Junkers F13. This one is the one with wheels and floats. Thinking  Iranian on Caspian sea coast.  Or Spanish civil war.

Arado Ar 196. Probably Spanish but a wheeled one with a trousered/spatted u/C in Chilean markings?  Maybe.

I received one of these today from BNA.  Had it on restock alert since someone here (Rickshaw or Womby IIRC) dreamy attention to them by buying the 1/35 edition a while ago.
My first thought is sling it under a '59 Caddy but there are so many other likely candidates in my stash.  This'll need a deep dive and some pondering.

This is starting to become a worrying habbit. Bought an IBG 1/72nd scale Centaur mk1, without actually loiking at it properly, and no alcohol was involved either. The tank is a bit old for what I usually build, but... I have a cunning plan. Swap the 2 20 mm anti aircraft guns for a pair of 30 mm rardens, and it becomes quite a formidable, if not a tad slow and antiquated infantry support vehicle,  the 20 mm guns have already got a home to go to, as they will be installed on my Avro Kittleton B1, when I start building it again.

Fred, it sounds like you may need to get a few more of those flying car conversions... just a helpful notion / suggestion...

Or you could take the idea and use some Bits Box parts - nothing says they have to be the same, competing designs / manufacturers and all that...

For some reason the first things that sprang to mind when I saw the flying car conversion were:

1. VW Beetle
2. Schwimwagen (in 1/35th of course)
3. Anything towing a caravan...

Option 3 would involve buying two conversion sets and only using 1.5 of them on the main model, however the other two could be mounted pointing straight down on a motorbike. Since the wheels would be a bit small on a motorbike kit (typically 1/12th scale), a scooter might be best. The Tamiya T-Max springs to mind if you want something fast and futuristic-looking, but a tiny 50cc scooter with a shopping basket might be funnier...
