The second zombie from the left looks like the lead singer in a zombie rock band in full flow  ;D

I was imagining him in full "Marcel Marceau" mime regalia.

Quote from: Wardukw on January 03, 2024, 10:33:08 PMRemember to smash the crap out of the building Brian ..the M-ATV is not light weight ..here's a couple of stats for ya .
Curb weight: 27,500 lb (12,500 kg) Gross weight: 32,500 lb (14,700 kg)

Just the rolling mass will crunch a building very nicely.
It's also more fun to crunch stuff 😊

;D
Well my plan was a slower impact, more of a gentle oversteer into the "not so open" door.
My skills are not up to make a full on collision damage mod to the vehicle look anywhere near good enough.

Waist coat not painted yet.. still room for that to happen. ;D
In actuality, probably will not use that figure, it is quite an absurd pose. Pretty sure it was inspired by the scene from World War Z

Mate you don't need to worry about your skills in yhe damage department..the armour on the M-ATV is pretty damn strong..even the front guards/fenders can take a bloody good crunch and still be fine.

Building damage is easy really..just broken wood or concrete..In model terms..snapped balsa or hardwood and plaster ..your pretty good with painting Bri ..that will make it look sweet 😋 😊
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .

Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Moving ahead, sort of impressed myself, as far as mojo

First up, some more stuff. The Soldier figures and some brass .50 Cal boxes

much more convincing empty boxes. A bit dicky to get together with some teensy weensy folds, but so far really worth the effort. Ok, I did not even try the ridiculously flimsy and largely impractical lid hinge part of the assembly sequence.

overall layout of the current bits, using some miniart Trash cans, Royal Models Street lamp and the other stuff you have already seen.
The building has a layer of an outdoor type filler over the foam to give a reasonably acceptable concrete finish, if a bit chunky to scale.

As I hoped one of the figures from the US Modern Set, just arrived, fits the bill for a trooper trapped underneath the vehicle by all the zombies

Looking good!

Those ammo boxes are impressive - though not for my (sadly lacking) level of skills... just no.

I've got a couple of sets of E T Model .50 ammo cans and I contest they are lovely little things ..ive got the normal size ammo can and the jumbo cans set ..one day I'll use em .

This is looking better and better Bri  ;D

Quick update on the base work, which is somehow, much to even my surprise, steaming ahead

Still some tidy ups and toning down to do, but getting into the zone

How the vehicle is situated as far as impacts etc etc. Sorry Phil, could not manage a full on destruction type scene  ;D

Captain Canada

Wow ! Great stuff here ! I like it all.

Mate that does look damn good for a slow speed impact ..just the right amount of crunch 😋
A small amount of broken concrete from the door frame would nail that coffin shut Brian mate 😊

Now all you need is to have the half-zombie figure crawling up, unnoticed, behind the guy hiding under the M-ATV. ;)

Its a steel angle, no expense spared by this building developer so any real damage to that would be hidden by the vehicle. There are small cracks on the concrete.

now awaiting my Zombie printing guy.

Now that is just unfair  ;D Not out of the question.... but unfair

Nice bit of door frame protection 👍..a common sense move from the builders 👷♂️  ;D

Are ya gonna add weeds and general rubbish ..cracks in the pavement with weeds are common even now ..hell we had that here a while back ..we relayed the concrete..still looks good until some wally drives over it  :banghead:

I do love the sneaky zombie idea   ;D  ;D

Yes, all that. It is not together yet. Some styrene for the roof still to come, fix lots of over done spray work, Some "OMG" skid marks from the vehicle. So a fair bit of detail work to go, but the basics are just about done.

I suppose a Zed could have crawled out through the the busted up roller door
