Italeri's product catalogue for the year. I can see myself picking up the Cessna 172, after building the atrocious Arii one a few years ago I need to purge the memories from my system!  ;D

The Macchi C-200 has me quite interested for nefarious reasons    ;)
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Nice to see some of the older stuff back again... I have all the ones I want, but there are others out there that don't.

I'm not worried about any of yhe 35th armour shown there ..ive had every single one pictured ..some ain't bad but all  typical Italeri.

Oh, a 1:72 M60A2? Doesn't seem to be a revival of the old ESCI kit. Just too late for me, since I have, over the years, procured several conversion sets to build one from a "normal" M60 kit...  :-\

What's the Italeri 1/35 DUKW like?
I'd like a duck in that scale and there is a new Chinese moulded version (I Love Kit?) with a trailer but they want silly money in three figures for them.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I'm only interested in the wingy thingys. Not a very inspiring lineup  but,, nonetheless a couple of little gems hidden away  . Good to see the CANT Z.501 again.. The multitude of struts males it a tricky build but, an attractive subject . I just bought a second hand one so, I should have known it would get reissued! That and, the C-119 remind me of why I like the Italeri range so much. They were never afraid to tackle less well known  subjects or, those ignored by other companies. Now, how about the Me-323 Gigant and, Gotha Go-242/244 Junkers Ju-188 and, Dornier 217 series! ;D

Nice to see the Jag XJ220 back, and I can think of naughty things to do with the Bugatti Royale's engine.  ;D

As for the aeroplanes, I bet they HATED to see the Airfix Me 410 at Telford! But at last there's a decently priced 1/72 F-35C, I may have to re-build my F-35D project.............

Royale engine is fairly crude.  Unless that is what the new parts are for.
I scratchbuilt a DOHC cylinder head and supercharged it with a 12:71 blower.

A 12:71? Some SERIOUS air shifting going on there.

Looks like the 'new parts' are rubber tyres though.  :-\

Fred it's a pretty good kit profile wise and very long ..it's goes together nicely but here's the typical Italeri part..soft detail ..the wheels are terrible which are cheap to replace with resin AM ones ...the cockpit/drivers compartment is OK but not great ..what ever your strange Australian mind would come up with this it's a good basis for it . ;D
It will be far cheaper than the I Luv It kit even tho the I Luv It kit will be 10 times better .
Because the wheels are so crap went backwards with mine ...I got rid of the wheels and went to duce and a half wheels  which is what the DUKW is based on anyways ..to me it looked far better with the 8 in the back and the 2 up front .

Gondor

Only two things of interest to me, the H-19 and F-35C, both in 1/72.

I know a few will be happy with the H19, but the eBay scalpers won't be.

Don't know how they have the nerve to put out the parcel of dog turds that is their 72nd Fw 190D?  Given that Airfix have a vastly superior 410 out, surely Italeri would have been better of repopping their Me 210?

Glad to see the old Esci Fiat G.91 kit coming out again but, i'll wait for the Kinetic kit, which will probably be much better and around the same price or only slightly more expensive. Older Esci reboxed by Italeri 1/48 kits are too expensive for the quality, i've learned that with the Kfir kit... :banghead:
I am interested in a few others like the 48th Stuka, F-35C and Cessna 172 but i have no clue of what these kits are like so i'll be waiting to see what's in the box.
The same with the Mk.IIC Hurricane, no clue if it's any good but will check before spending... I will probably buy a 1/72 Merlin and F-84G for a RW PoAF bird,
Besides the Merlin, in 1/72 there's only the F_35C, that is certainly being bought when available and, the AMX-T and the Raven are also of interest to me.
