From BNA;

Some paint - Zero Paint lacquer.  Solid White, Winfield Racing Red, and Hemi Orange for planned future car builds.  Pearl White because its good to always have Pearl White.  Bought now because I don't know if BNA are always going to have it available and it's very good paint.

Two sets of canopy masks for Airfix Rotodynes.  Now I just need the Airfix Rotodynes...

The Condor I won on eBay arrived yesterday.  I am now replete with Condors.

Thinking RAF transport colours for this one, as the Danish impressed one BOAC flew. It would have been impressed into the RAF but it crashed before that happened. The horrible two blade props will have to go, some nice Rotols should do the trick.

Arrived yesterday my 4th and final F-8 kit, which was given to me by a friend in Scotland. This one is the Italeri F-8E in 1/72nd scale, I have a mostly built Hasegawa on the bench and the Academy F-8E, and the sword RF-8G to go at for my Fleet Air arm Falklands task force. I am wondering whether to do a 2 seater skyhawk as part of the same theme, and put a refueling pod on it. Going to need some more decals so hopefully I will find something suitable on Sunday.   

Uncle Frank has given me the box and some bits of the CMK/MPM Arado Ar 68E.  He says the rest of it, assembled, is elsewhere and he'll pass it on later.  As it is, I'm happy enough just to have the box as the artwork is nice with some very rich colour.

Also in the box was an assembled Airkit Spitfire F.22, although no canopy, guns, prop or landing gear.  I gave enough in the copious Spitfire spares bins. Another of my all time favourite kits.  May even get finished in real markings.

A trawl through some wreckage boxes in a very cold loft has yielded enough bits for 1.5 Focke Wulf Ta 154 airframes but no canopies.  There are some of the early proposals that are very intriguing, enough for me to want to scratchbodge a few.  The BMW 801 single seater with the low wing is one of them, as is the mid wing Ta 211 schnellbomber.  May keep an eye out for some more cheap PM ones.

From Airfix for £cheap, by means of exploiting the Hobby Reward Points and Airfix Club Discount systems:

2 x 1/72nd Skyhawk A-4B and MiG-17F Dogfight Doubles
1 x 1/72nd Airfix Club BAE Hawk "first and last" set (2 x kits)

If you're tempted by these, note that they are full kits, but they come with only one set of instructions and one combined decal sheet with one scheme for each aircraft in the pair.

I already have 3 Sea Fury kits in my stash but no Tempest so, i took care of that with the KP kit. Still considering a 1/48 one of the Mk. II, which is my favorite variant of the type.
Included in the order, a couple of PJ productions 1/72 Rafale pilots and a couple of KV models 1/72 mask sets, one for the Fujimi A-7 kits and the other for the Italeri A-26A/B Invader.

One of my very favourite aircraft    However be careful when constructing this kit and when it comes to the fuselage ignore the instructions.

This is my third KP Tempest Mk II and I now at least seem to have cracked its construction. It's a lovely build apart from the cowling. So, ignore the instructions which would have you build a complete cowling and attach that to the fuselage and instead attach each cowling half to its respective fuselage and then after attaching a slimed down engine assemble the two complete fuselage halves as per normal.

Yea, but slimed down means you can squeeze it in 

I discovered the early Corsair Birdcage for another
 ( better ) jet driven fighter version .
And some new colors from the local dealer and fine new brushes .
Sunny day today, went to the Shop with Mrs. Killnoizer by bike and a visit to the steakhouse nearby . Now at afternoon  back to practical work .

It's a beautiful aircraft, don't know why I took so long to get one. And i'm really thinking about buying the Eduard 1/48 kit.
I remember reading about it in your build thread and I bought it aware of that issue, Chris. Regardless, I really appreciate the heads up, thanks!
