That looks very neat, and maybe applicable to other aircraft too.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

The only issue with the Heller J29 issue is the non-afterburning engine cowling provided. That, however, can be fixed by bashing one of the rather awful Revellobox Tunnans with a Heller hull, and Bob's your uncle.
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

I think someone here copied the Matchbox burner can for use on the Heller.  A pm to Martin H should provide a few answers.

I went to Bolton with 12 kits, sold 8, and bought 1 new kit.

That was the newly re-released Airfix SRN-1 hovercraft. There was a nicely finished one on show at Bolton.

Thanks to those who helped with my sales. It covered my petrol bill.

Scratching one is probably more effective, IIRC the Matchbox part is just a small "cup" with a relatively small diameter and a flat rim, it does not look like the real thing at all, and fits poorly, too.  :-\

A pretty quite sort of haul today ..just 8 packets of evergreen 2.5mm angle styrene strips .
The November issue of Airfix Model World ..which for us is the latest and ghe October issue of Tamiya model magazine..latest again.
Also 4 more AK Interactive paints and the right thinner for it.
A Verlinden M60 A1 engine and compartment .

The coolest thing is tho this Feller high voltage masts set ..220mm in height ..I believe they are HO scale but I can promise you lot this ..evil plans are afoot already   ;D
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .

Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

It's "Faller", I guess? Then it should be H0/1:87 scale.

Yep Faller..a long day and lack of coffee Thomas 😆
And thank ya ..there's nothing I can find on the packaging which says it's scale .
No need to worry now

These arrived today from BNA.  Two sets.
The compressor housing section is about the same length as a 1/25 big block v8 engine block.  So they should be suited to scaleoramaing into 1/25 cars.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
