At first glance, this looked like a power station from a slightly dystopian future...............then I examined it more closely.

I see what you mean

Won this last night .
1/35 AFV Club YPR765-PRI ..it's the Dutch version of the Korean IFV modified M113 .
I do wonder if this has a full interior like Academys one does.
A good score for less than 30 notes  ;D
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Putting my pedant's hat on for a moment, The YPR765 and K200 KIFV are actually both locally produced versions of FMC's AIFV, which was a private venture cheaper alternative to the Bradley:

From the bits box at the local hobby shop for 75p:

2 x German WWII battleship turrents which I think are from a 1/350th Prinz Eugen.
1 x Arado Ar 196 from what I presume is the same source, which is where I've got the scale from.

There was a bunch of secondary and flak turrets in the box, together with LOTS of cute little ship's boats in various sizes. If any ship modeller want them, I'm happy to go back and get them then send them on at cost. DM if you want them.

As for the turrets, what struck me was that they're about the same size as 1/72nd tank turrets, so hmmmm........

I bought a spares/junk collection of bombs, rockets etc on Evilbay tonight. Not that cheap, but the nuggets were four Maestro BK90 bomb dispensers and four Bofors rocket pods from the same producer. These have become awfully expensive, so only that makes it worthwhile.

Added to that, loads of stuff that can or cannot be used for a multitude of things, among them hopefully a few more cylinders to make RR Avon afterburner cans from. I'm running out, and I still have a few Lansens to modify..

I also stumbled on a 1/72 Meng Leopard 2A7 kit to put in the StashTM for a day when I feel for ground vehicle building.
Well - stranger things has happened...

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

The wins were a Academy B-25G "Shark Mouth" in 1/48 scale and a lovely Hasegawa - 1/24 - ESPO Larousse Lamborghini Lola lc90 F1 car .

Not sure if I mentioned it but I scored this a couple of days back but I also scored a 1/35 Miniart SU-76M SPG.

Two kits from the scale Modell club Weekend .
The Tu2 is a rare Kit from east German republic , complete NOS .

You cannot view this attachment.

The Mig 37 came with the bill from 1988 , that Shop was the local leader in all technical stuff , with a huge Model Department in the basement . I also bought a lot of YAMAHA musical Equipment there around that time which i still own today !

I built that Tu-2 back around 1981-82. Long gone like most of what I've built over the decades.
