This being the Horton's design, the brothers built a special trolley which the 267 taxies onto and which then swivels through 90 degrees and goes into the hangar sideways.

And no, I'm NOT going to build the trolley, I had enough of them with the one for the Martin Monterey!  :o

Quote from: zenrat on March 10, 2024, 04:59:10 AMDo you think the wings are long enough?   ;)

Nice work Mr Spakko.      I might have added castors or skid plates to the wing tips but that's just me.  It's awesome.  You need to do some Dizz style pics of it   soaring in front of thunderheads.

If they were even 10 mm longer they'd touch the ground!  :o

And wingtip skids might have been a good idea, yes. Hindsight being the world's only exact science of course.............

I'm not up to Dizzy's level of photoging these days, way back I might have done, but I like the idea anyway.

Should be fairly easy to add them, just some stretched sprue.

Ah the good old Horton Bumerang. Question is, did it come back? ;)

According to the back story it never even went.  ;D

Brilliant Kit 👏  ;D  ;D

I like a long wing span and this definitely falls into that category

Love it 😀
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

A glorious build!
Must have played havoc with airport runways and structures. Everything razed for kilometeres to leave space for that wingspan....  ;D
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Another possible rule: If it isn't causing trouble somehow, and/or somewhere, and/or somewhen, it probably isn't a whiff.  ;D

The Wooksta!

I'm not keen on the swastikas, they look too much like the ones the US was applying post war to their captured stuff rather than your actual late war Luftwaffe.

They came in the kit, in two halves each mind you, and I don't have any others to hand. They're the very DEVIL to print too, having done a few before.

They'll have to do for now though.

I just don't like swastikas.  But where you've put them the jet exhaust will scorch them off post haste.
