Just arrived

You cannot view this attachment.

Why you may ask, bearing in mind I already have one ? Well mainly what sold it was the price. £13.99 for an exceptionally nice kit, which includes canopy mask, 2 sets of etch (one pre coloured) and 6 markings options, 2 of which don't involve mottle  . Value for money or what ?

Oh and a couple of resin sets for my Airfix Me 410's, wheels etc. Hoping to get back to this next week.

This week I have received:

Tamiya Extra Thin - Quick Setting (I have a bad habit of leaving the lid loose so I lose more to evaporation or spillage than I use).
Set of three detail brushes with stumpy little handles.
An OO scale card model church.
Stainless steel mixing balls.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Is that Airfix ? Just I see they are now selling various OO buildings

I assume ball-bearings ? Or am I missing something ?

Some more bits and pieces arrived today. From eBay

1 x 1/72 MPM 72501 Bristol Blenheim Mk. V Been after one for a while and this popped up in an unrelated search so I got it while I could.

From Jadlam Racing

1 x 1/72 IBG 72544 Fw 190D-9 JABO/STURM Rocket Hunter. Lee is responsible for this as he suggested the spare engine cover be used on the Dragon Ta 152 C I recently bought. With a quick look at the kit, I may be buying more and using the Academy 190 D's for whiffs.
1 x 1/72 Special Hobby SH 72419 Folland Gnat FR.1 'Finnish Recce Fighter'. I bought it to make up the minimum order value.

From ArmyCast

1 x 1/72 AC 72022: AH-64A Peren-Matrix. It's an upgrade set for the Israeli AH-64 with lots of changes to the stub wings and pylons and a few other bits and bobs.

From  Jacksons Models & Railways

EXPO Modelmakers Scale Rule in 1/35 scale. I already have a 1/72 scale ruler from the same company, and I am wondering if they do a 1/600 for my ship models  ;D

The Wooksta!

Given that the upper fuselage of the IBG 190s pinches in too much thus the canopies given are too narrow, the spare canopies out of the Academy D can be used to fudge them.

Of the IBG D-9s, the rocket Hunter is the one to have, as it comes with two wings, one with the outer cannons, and the R4M rocket racks.
