Some nice stuff in there, but not enough to tempt me.

If another 10% would make a difference, I'd be happy to use my club membership to order it for you and pass it on at a show.

If I post it on to you then the double postage would probably eat the 10% back up, depending on the kit of course.

How can some of the Quickbuild cars have 'No Scale'?  They must be built to SOME sort of scale even if it's a silly one?

Be aware that some of the Gift Sets only have decals for one model, rather than a couple of alternatives that came with the originals. I speak from experience having got a couple of Lightning F2A Gift Sets.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

Yep - that's how they get the price down to compensate for the paints, glue and brush. Printing costs are now a significant part of the cost of a kit: look at how much cheaper AZ & Special Hobby ones are when they sell them in bags with no decals.

Short of them being free, no.  Work has been quiet so other than absolute essentials, I'm buying very little.
Much as I'd like another Beaufort, I want electricity, heat and food more.

Fair enough. Offer stands at any time.

My latest Club Newsbrief contained some sprue shots from the forthcoming 1/48 Bulldog, and they look just

Any other "wrongs" one can think of.............!
;)  ;D  Ok, just kidding. I have personally got zero interest in it but, that's not important I just move on to the next type...! ;D

Eons ago I might of been able to handle it in 1/72, but not now unfortunately  :-\  It's the struts basically so I might be able to deal with them in 1/48.

I know exactly what you mean. I'm just glad to see that they are once again producing new tool kits and of a terrific standard

From what I've seen, the Bulldog could be very tempting! ;D

With an eye to navalisation! Which is so easy to do with these between-the-wars lighter aircraft. ;)

A Bulldog in 1/72, done as well as the Gladiator, would get my dollars.  But not in 1/72.  Not while I can still see and coordinate well enough to build one anyway.
Same with the Walrus, and on a good day the Gannet.

Here's the Workbench article Chris mentioned.

I've got to admit I'm tempted, as I am with several of Airfix's 1/48 kits. Not a type I've ever thought about much.  The CAD shots do look lovely.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I thought it would be the Scottish Aviation Bulldog as used for training in the 1970s.

That's the reason I'm having to consider 1/48  :-\
