No, it's from Rakem Emporium on Evil-Bay.  He says he designs and prints them himself.  He has a range of model railway scale stuff including shipping containers (which could be handy).  It's straight out of his printer and needs to be sealed so I have to buy a rattle can of fixative.  I plan to use it to pay homage to Kris Kuksi by building my own Church Tank.

Chris the steel mixing balls get dropped into the paints of like AK Interactive..Ammo..Vallejo and so on ..use one or two and shake the  hell out of em ..I use em..mix the paint up very nicely 👌

What DUKWy said.  Stainless steel 5.5mm ball bearings.  Drop them into a plastic dropper bottle of paint and then when you shake it up they mix the crap out of the paint.  Reusable (when you finish the paint just wash and reuse) but as my range of colours expands then so does the number of balls I need.  Yes I could probably get them in bulk cheaper than from Hobby Tools Australia but I don't need them in bulk and I like spending money with Gary as he is a local business i've been buying from for years.

A spontaneous purchase: a mecha twin set from Good Smile Company, with two Patlabor models, a HL-98 Hercules 21 (left) and an ASV99 Boxer. Both are civil construction labors, but the red Herc might be whiffed into something military?
Selling point is/was the exotic 1:60 scale, which matches the older Bandai kits. And I am curious about the company's quality.

Hataka come with "mixing balls" already in the pots, but it had never crossed my mind to get some for the likes of Xtracrylic and the new Humbrol pots    May well do so now. Cheers gents

Chris it's the same with AK Interactive and Ammo with their later release paints ..these balls are great for their earlier paints which don't have em ..I use of em at once ..works much better than just one ..a helpful hint at 4:53am here in Kiwi land 

i will add a rider to using the mixing balls in plastic dropper bottles      ive read on a couple of wargames fora, that using a motorised paint shaker and  them can result in the bottles being worn through / splitting and paint going " all over the shop".    a little cations and not too much power is probably good.

I used some cash from a recent sell off of part of stash to invest in the following from King Kit

2x AZ Focke Wulf Fw 190D-13 - one is going to get a Ta 152 tail and both need the cowling replaced as they're a bit Meh. The spare Jumo 213 cowling in the IBG 190D-15 is ideal.
1 Dragon Fw Ta 152C - going to be a torpedo carrier, just as soon as I get the rack moulds done.

Ah cheers mate. I've never gone down the motorised shaker route, thought about making one, but even thinking about it hurt my mechanically limited brain, and there's certainly not that much power in my wrists
