Well, that's one opinion but, it sure ain't mine! ;)

Mate, that was six years ago (posted on my father's birthday).

I still hold with what i said.  The future is no more physical stashes - just a library of data files and bags of whatever the printer runs on (Soylent Green?  ).

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I think your right mate, as long as it isn't Soylent Green  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

As announced by the MC at a Sci-Fi con I attended once:

"The cafeteria has run out of Soylent Green. The Catering Staff are asked to send some people up to address this issue."

I prefer Soylent Grape.

One of these days one or more of us should have another go at listing makers of whiffery on said site.
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

Since the Shapeways bankruptcy, I've been keeping an informal list of what happened to the folks who made ship parts. Maybe someone else can do the same for aircraft, cars, etc.

Manuevo said that they have taken over Shapeways' European operations, but I haven't seen much sign of model stuff yet.

Sites to Watch:

Model Monkey abandoned Shapeways quite a while ago:

https://www.model-monkey.com/

Micro Master moved some of its stuff off previously. It will be interesting to see if they move the rest.

https://micromaster.co.nz/

DiStefan 3D Print says that they've moved everything. Their new website it a bit awkward, though.

Model Fun Shipyard has told us to watch their Facebook page for future announcements:
