RAFF-35

How many different aircraft have been used for this build? I love it!
Don't let ageing get you down, it's too hard to get back up

Ehm, let me think: it's a nakajima c3n wing, Blenheim nacelles and main gear, Gladiator engines, cockpit vertical tails and upper fuselage, mosquito nosecone, Mitsubishi zero fuselage and fiat Cr42 stabilo's.

Can't remember where the left hand prop came from. It's two bladed an a tad bigger. Maybe Aero a100.

Cheers, David

It's very good.  But it looks French to me, not British.  But then what do I know.   :-\

Reveal or revile?  Either would be of interest.   ;D

Sorry Dave.  Couldn't resist.

But then again.  https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/reveil
Never stop learning do we.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I know what you mean. From some angles I'm reminded of the SNCASE 100, but the way the cockpit is perched on top of the fuselage definitely looks "Gloster".

Oh, that's OK.. Zenrat. The typo was caused by a combination of early morning, no coffee, unclear glasses and bangers sized fingers...eitherway I'll post the DC-3 project rightaway.

Ah ok. I didn't quite understand what you meant that it looked French, But I definitely looks similar to the SNCASE SE.100 although it's smaller. It reminds me to lift the tail with a longer gear.

The Wooksta!

There was a Bristol project that was a dead ringer for the Skyrocket.

SPINNERS

You had me at Gloster.

I'm loving this build.

@NARSES2 Love the shape of that Bristol 153. Have an article from an ancient Flypast about the Westland Whirlwind and this bristol is also mentioned. Love it.

Meanwhile I attached the second engine and raised the tail. Hope it looks more Gloster now.

Rick Lowe

Y'know, that works better than you'd think it might...

Interesting to see the Mossie nose upside down so the cannon are on top. We're so used to them being underneath.

Time for some updates:

Painting is done and so is decaling. Still some detailing to be done to finish (exhausts, radio mast, paint rims, general touch-ups)
