It's like a Luftwaffe Lanc size-wise.  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

It'd be 50/50 whether the Vulture or the DB 610 was the most UNreliable...................

As I understand it, the engine problems would have been much alleviated by proper sufficient cooling

Overly complicated, they should of gone down the 277 route earlier.

Of course. It would not be german otherwise.... ;D
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Catching fire was expected with a DB610.  They got worried if it didn't happen.  Meant they were low on flammable fluids...

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I hope that my model will not catch fire because of its engines...

Landing gear is now done and waiting for later assembly

Starting with some first primer colours, but still fighting a bit with the fit quality of the fuselage. You definitely see the age of this kit. I guess I should have taken a Revell He 177 for the conversion.

The Wooksta!

The Airfix 177 dates from 1965, your boxing is circa 1980 I think, judging by the oval logo.

Comparing the Revell and Airfix fuselages, the length matches and many of the other points are in the same place.

Hmm, I did not know that this kit is so old...

But now the first color layer has been completed. Adding the masking was a it of a paint. And all the putty & sanding was.
Then the airbrush cabin is free again (now blocked by the Reban space ship), camo painting can be added.

Slow progress, but some more colors have been added. Still a lot to do here

Continuing the camo paint job, so it looks a bit more complete now:
