Just a reminder about this excellent site: these are exactly the sort of "reuse" backstories that we're always making up, so some real-life inspiration and credibility/incredibility* checks are always helpful.


*An incredibility check is where you do a bit of research before abandoning your backstory on the grounds that "nobody would do something as crazy as that," because you still remember the time you found out six months later that somebody actually did something MUCH crazier than that...

Have to admit, I never saw your original post. However the Forgotten Weapons Youtube channel just referenced the site, and I did a search before starting a new thread about it.

There are some crazy combinations of gear in those stories. Good for when someone says "that never happened "!

I still remember being a bit confused when Dragon's 3818 Vietnam Weapons set came out, with MP40s...  ;)
