Weird but it looks like a blast! Paint it up like a Catalina!

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Over Derwentwater today,  the following:-
a couple of extremely noisy Hawks
Two pairs of Typhoons at about 500 feet
Threesome of  USAF F 15s at about 1000 feet travelling very rapidly
a single Typhoon so low that one could just about make out the colour of the driver's eyes.......................lots of tourists going OOOH, GOSH, LOOK AT THAT!.........and the Herdwick sheep on the fellside taking no notice at all.

Lots of helicopters flying around stately zen manor today.
Mrs z reported one landed "over there on the hill" (where the suspiciously secure facility with lots of sheds I call "the drug farm" is located).
Only one of them (not the one that landed) showed up on fight tracking.  That was from a private hire company that does "government and private contracts".

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Looked it up on Flightradar, it was listed as RAF and had a call name rather than a G- serial. Maybe we're still operating them... ;)

Wouldn't surprise me given the state of the country's finances  ;)

Aren't you supposed to set it free to see if it comes back to you?
