Quote from: Old Wombat on April 14, 2024, 05:22:20 AMAnd I agree with Fred re: the wings. (Sorry, Kit! ... Not! )

That's OK, just post me the bits you chop off, every little helps.  ;D

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

;D  ;D  ;D  ;D

Well the wing lenght is slightly shorter swept back than the normal A7s wings and open this bird will need the ability to dance as this gas a after burner unlike the normal A7 😜

Nice work there.
It really does look like it was meant to be.

Little to no PSR is always a bonus, too.
Agree the cockpit is much better now, good to see.
Also good to note the solid pivot point anchors and metal bar... one of the first things I did when I built the BiL's Italeri F-14 all those years ago.
Cos you know it's going to have the swing-wing function played with sorry, tested out...  ;D

Quote from: zenrat on April 14, 2024, 05:19:28 AMPainting?  Probly too late then to say I think it would benefit from shorter wings (sorry Kit)?
I think they would help make it look more Corsairish at first glance.

And I agree with Fred re: the wings. (Sorry, Kit! ... Not! )
The wings were a problem until I did some measuring and stuff ...at full sweep yep these are longer for sure but when fully swept back they are a fare amount shorter than a RW A7 so I'm working on the principle of speed and maneuverability...which these wings it has and like the RW A7 ..3 weapons stations pur wing
