Won a Roden 1:72 Fokker E.V/D.VIII at ev!lbay fpr EUR 9,-, think about building it OOB but with (whiffy) Swedish late WWI markings - from an era before the Swedish Air Force was formally established.

I was looking on eBay for 00 gauge Class A4 bodyshells and found two at a bargain price,  green puty and Revell glue.

An impulse buy on eBay the Mach2 Breguet Br.1150 Atlantic ATL1, very cheap price. I know from past experience that it's a lot smaller than the Revell 1/72 model kits, the glazing is a bit thick and the details are sparse but it will get kitbashed to become a four engine version.

PR19_Kit

A race seat belt harness set for my Daytona Cobra from HiroBoy.

Yeah, I KNOW I said I'd never use one of those again when I was doing my brother's Caterham, but it was the only set I could find anywhere, the much vaunted Eduard ones seem to be extinct, or not available anyway.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Depends on if you are buying them in person or on eBay. I was quite happy to pay what I did, it would have been far higher on eBay where the seller usually sells his stock. I also saw it before the crowds of punters were let in and while he was still setting up.

Thank you Kit, it was a case of taking his hand off at the elbow. Just bought a copy of Lockheed Martin C5 Galaxy Warbirdtech Vol 36 to go with the kit. Tomorrow I plan to buy a few packs of Slaters Rod I saw on sale at the show.

Leoman Su-11 and Special Hobby Sabre Hog in 1/72 have both arrived. The Su is an interesting mix of raised and engraved lines, like the couldn't make their mind up on which to go for.

There's a few kits of a similar vintage around like that. Probably in the middle of switching production methods at the time, or the the new kid straight out of Technical College was taking over from the old geezer who was retiring  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
