I have to get me one of those Panel Vans.  The idea of a 1940's Scooby Gang Mystery Machine just popped into my head when I looked at it...

No new plastic but I did find a bottle of Leffe Radieuse (8.2% ABV) in the beer fridge which I had forgotten I had.  It's gone down very nicely and may explain the above.

So glad to have a working mute button again...I wore out the last one..fecking hate adverts .

I know they are out of vogue these days but we still have a DVR and anything we want to watch on free to air TV we record so we can forward through the friggin' ads.

Quote from: Wardukw on May 02, 2024, 09:27:33 PMAnd 4 Gundam models..all started ...there about 135mm tall and no ideas what to do with em at the mo  ;D

Sound like 1/144 scale kits.  Use the legs to build walking armour.  They are about the right size to give legs to a small vehicle like a Universal Carrier or a Scout Car.  I started to do this to a Tamiya Bren Gun carrier but it got broken and I lost interest.  Parts are still kicking about in various parts boxes.
You would be able to do the idea full justice with your detailing ability.  Full hydraulic lines on the legs for example.
Go on, you know you want to.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

That's exactly what I do

Earlier today I received

2 x 1/35 105mm Gun barrels for Leopard tanks. These are for a potential conversion of a VT 1-2 into a VT 1-1

A short while ago from the BIG yellow H

2 x 1/72 Academy 12585 KF-21. One to be effectively OOB with the other to be put into F-22 markings

You evil bugga  ;D   ;D  ;D
I've already pulled them  all to bits to see what works and what won't...my next thing is to see what's in the stash which might fit the bill 🤔
I have something in mind

As for those adverts even if I had a DVR I wouldn't use it as there's not a single show I'd consider recording...damn near everything is a repeat or just boring as hell but I like having motion in the back ground when I'm working on a model ...it's like I need stimulus for my eyes and brain and it works quite nicely  ;D
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.

Couple of interesting books there Mr Chaos, especially The Civil War & Gallipoli

Meanwhile from the South Downs Show yesterday a Special Hobby 1/72 Blohm & Voss BV 155V-1 "Karawanken" (is that legal ?  ). I've already built one, and after digging my build report/article for the UK Newsletter realised I'd enjoyed it so much I decided to get another.

I do have plans for it though. As a high altitude bomber destroyer armed with a couple of X-4 missiles. I figure that the pilot might have a little more time at those altitudes to use them rather than a Ta 183 pilot with a couple of Mustangs on his tail ?

Nick

I picked up two kits at the Scottish show last week.

One was the Airfix SRN1 Hovercraft - I'm not happy with the finish on the first one and want to try again.

The other was the 1/144 Meng Harkonnen Ornithopter. It looks good and may wear Soviet Hind markings.

Just picked these up at the local gas station where i asked the courier to drop them off. The Corsair will be converted to become a real world A-7P and the Seafang may become a land based machine but it's still to be decided...

The Wooksta!

Not kits or even anything aircraft shaped, but it is plastic.  Well, vinyl actually.  I was gifted several Warsaw and Joy Division records, including a relatively rare Incubation/Komakino flex I disc.

Absolutely over the moon with these.
