Maybe for the "not so good an idea after all" GB.

I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

It looks like whiff kitbash I would never dream of. Make it asymmetrical and it would look like something Tophe would dream of.

Amphibian Ekranoplan VTOL with enough wing to fly "properly".  What's not to love?

There are three different 1/72 kits of the VVA 14 by Modelsvit and A&A all based on the same moulds.
These are;
Land version.  Wheeled undercarriage only.  Proposed VTOL using lift engines.  The kit has the engine doors moulded closed.
Amphibian version.  The one shown above.
Balloon test version.  Amphibian with inflatable floats instead of rigid hulls.
Reviews report fit is not good.
Obviously I have all three and have built none.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Yeah shockingly you'd think it's one our mates ideas but she's real and gladly what remains of it stuck in a museum so it can't scare anything else.

Not sure how reliable this is but a couple of days ago someone created a page for a 2025 new tool A&A models 1/48 XP-72 "Ultrabolt"... no box art image and nothing on their site about but, i'll be waiting for more info about it before i order the Halberd models conversion set for the Tamiya kit.

Seconded: I ADORE the VVA-14, especially the inflatable pontoon one that worked the least well of all of them.

Sensible   But you might be in for a wait even if it is in their catalogue.

No worries, i can wait. It's one of those that i thought would never be made as full kit so, this is great news and worth the wait.

Same here because it will probably be cheaper than the conversion set and, that's BEFORE you even have to fork out for a kit to convert!

That looks very good in that scheme, Chris. What kit did you use as base?
