I've been building the 1/72 scale HSL-1 for AGES now, still haven't got anywhere with it, but it's an interesting machine for sure.

Mine has been turbine engined so far..................

The HSL had the typical Bell rotor system design.

Hopefully in rhythm with each other, they were mechanically connected IIRC.

The few times I flew in the RAN's old UH-1B/Cs they ran pretty smoothly, I thought.

Yup, I understand the Bell counterweight system; the photo of the model made it look as if the blades were of different lengths.

There's a chap building two 1/72 Soviet Union aircraft using the vacform kits, a Bison jet bomber and an early fighter jet. 22 + photos of the build.
