mortar tubes are together and have been undercoated,  so they and the teams will be on paint start tomorrow now.  im also gluing the Tori gate from earlier this year, its going together smoothly  and well.

welp ive got the figures to do it.....
its more for if i ever get the drive, skill, cash and materials to do the Resistance base attack from " Grey Digital Target"  manga / anime,  where in addition to several human sized figures i need 2 sets of mecha / power suits / slave suits, some buildings and at least one Torii gate ( i looked up how to spell it earlier, as i was certain id spelt it correctly yesterday, seems i missed the second i ).

but thats a project for another time....

the base coat of buff and the ink wash for depth are on the mortar teams, so happy there, and ive found 5 second hand foundry street violence figs that i got second hand,  ive moved them to the bases i use and am finishing them up  they had already had the faces done and 2 of the 5 had base colour and shading done, so happy there as well.

PSR on the gate has commenced,  it was just a little too layer-ry  after the first set.
3 of the  street violence figs are done     the mortar tubes are done and im getting some paint on the carry packs for the rounds 

the gate is done and varnished, as are both mortar teams and the 5 street violence figures, for an additional piece of scenery and 11 figures.

49 figures 4 pieces of scenery and  7 models.

ive some Victorian style Egyptian explorers to clean up and im having a start on one of the FV432s from Empress as well.

just listened to the qualifying for the Spanish GP, and with luck, there may well be a race tomorrow, wile i have a Favourite driver or two, one driver seasons are rather boring.

i have decided on the "tells" on these will be the small tamiya 1:48 packs from the jerrycan set, none on one hull, 1 on a second, and 2 on the third. if i need another idea i may go for something like undiching poles for the next platoon ( if i ever get more)

it seems that the more i do, the more i feel i can do.  rather a virtuous circle.   
tonight's assembly will hopefully be undercoated tomorrow.
