Small amounts of additional filler needed followed by more sanding and primer...

...and that may be as far as it gets this week as Mrs z and I are spending the weekend taking in some History and Culture.  A fact I forgot when I entered the GB in a fit of enthusiasm on Satyrday.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Particularly like the sound of the art exhibition. Enjoy

Art exhibition was "Paris: Impressions of Life 1880-1925" (so not just impressionist) and was at the Bendigo Art Gallery.
Paintings, newsreel footage, clothing, shop signs, posters.
Good stuff.  Particularly the newsreel footage.  I love watching that.  People just stopped and stared at the camera because they were something new.  And everyone wore a hat.  In one clip there was a little girl having a good old dig with her finger up her nose.  And then eating it.  Little did she know that in 100 years time we would all be watching her.

Chris, I would ba obliged if you could move this into the aircraft thread.

No rush.  Whenever you get to it will be fine.

Thank you.

I have been progressing with this but since I missed the deadline I can put more into it than I was going to do...
...like hand paint some sharks teeth and come up with a more complex paint scheme.
Before we went away for the weekend I painted the underside white and since returning I have painted the pilot, cockpit, and UC bays.
Tomorrow i'll have a dig in the transfers stash to see what springs to mind as regards a paint job

Thanks mate.

Decided on Italian for this one.  I found some transfers and a nice "Harpsian" three colours over grey camo scheme on an Aermacchi 326 which will suit the Pheagle.

Quote from: zenrat on June 08, 2024, 05:17:09 AMI sort of already have.  My SuperJag for the BHJ GB had the Eagle wings mounted on most of the Phantom fuselage.

That's almost an egg plane, but l will forgive you for that.
Whatever.

Humbled that my paintings have inspired a term.
Whatever.

You have a flow to your camo designs which I think is distinctive and which appeals to me.

I also found this marvellously weathered Brazilian example.

Progress today consisted of painting white over areas i'd previously primer with white.  And inside the intakes.
So nothing that will show up on a photo.
