Good question. The one the 'Dad' is holding is a side by side twin engined aircraft with a long spine, and the only one that comes to mind is a Marut! But that'd be most unlikely really.........  :-\
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

And the one I really want a kit of! But the Marut had rounded wingtips.

Not really, there nothing worse in my opinion than censoring films based on modern standards. Just issue a warning with them

Based on what's on the table, looks like either a GUPPied fleet boat or the Nautilus

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

The fin's too skinny for a 'B-52, maybe a B-47? I remember building that Revell 'Fit the box' kit myself in 1953 or so.

All those partially built kits on the table could lead to some real kit bashing! Beaver would be the one to glue wings onto the sub!

Did the F11F have twin side-by-side engines?
I think the correct answer is XF-90, as given in he ARC link.
