This is the RS models kit in 1/72nd scale, and yet again has fallen victim to my canopy curse. The canopy is to small in depth, so leaves a 1mm gap along its bottom edge, and because of the shape of the fuselage/cockpit wall  it is very difficult to get a strip of styrene in the gap, so squadron putty saved the day ish. I am not happy with it, but then again its an RS kit, and the last one I built was a pain.
This aircraft will be in post war RAF markings, as a captured evaluation aircraft, that went on to be a testbed for Vickers in the late 40's early 50's.

I like this - it looks like a prototype for the V bomber family.

Cheers guys, I was trying to get it fiinished before I move house, but its not looking favourite at the moment.

Finally got this thing out of my way, and done with. Lost interest in it to be honest, but tis done now.

I think I was expecting too much from the kit too, as they are far from shake and bake, and my fingers are not great, so build quality suffers. Still it looks ok from 20 ft away, so its reet.....

 

I think the P.1107 came out well, despite the struggles.

When I firat saw the kit  I looked up the aircraft, and immediately thought Handley Page. I suppose you could wiff one as a prototype/ pre V bomber aircraft built by them too. I think it would also look good in polished NMF too.
