Colin at Freighdog can do you SRAAM 100s if you ask him nicely. Try messaging him on here or sending him an e-mail via his website.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Inspired by DogfighterZen's wonderful Seafang/Spiteful, I just won a Rareplanes vacform one off eBay at a nice-ish price.

Not QUITE sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but something will come along I'm sure.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Managed to finally snag a Special Hobby A-17 Nomad, the one with the striking yellow and black colours, for a sensible price. You can definitely see a familial resemblance with the Dauntless....Hmmm...

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Especially as Bristol used one to test the Hercules, as well as the A-33 being pretty much an A-17 with a more powerful engine and better performance :)

A-33 was the USAAC designation for Douglas 8A-5N aircraft that had been ordered by Norway, and they weren't
just a re-engined A-17. They had the
ventral gun position that was an option
on the export Model 8A.

Interesting. You can't see that on this picture,  it then if it's the prototype I guess that would make sense.

That's because the photo on Wikipedia is mislabeled. It's an A-17A, not a Model 8A-5N/A-33.

This is an 8A-5N in US Army service as an A-33.
