Well she is, apart from having a freaking big Upkeep hanging off her belly.
Oh, and I staggered the waist gunners windows which according to the destructions is not correct for an E (well, not the ones they give you transfers for anyway).
I shall also be putting more than the usual number of guns through the nose glazing.  For the purpose of shooting back at the flak lined up along the top of Hoover Dam.

This should be finished very soon.

That's looking SO good, even unfinished!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I have to agree with you on that.

It does now have a rattle though.  In drilling a hole for one of the pitots on the nose I dislodged the bomb aimers seat so it is now loose in the cockpit.
Not to worry though, I don't mind my models rattling and anyway if you peer through any windows other than those in the nose there is no interior at all.

A question (needed for the back story).

Does anyone know if Upkeep casings were cast or fabricated?

Thank you.

Fabricated, they're all rivetted together.

Fabricated as Kit said...one piece of rolled steel plate riveted together on an internal frame at the joint and as ya can see ..the ends as well  ;D
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .

Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .
