Looks very good.  When I put floats on a DH-88 Comet I left the undercarriage bays open and put bombs in them.
You couldn't have put bombs in them in this case but you could have used them for life rafts, or medical supplies, or some other non-weapon.

The reason for sealing the landing gear up is that's where the floats have to be mounted ...these have centre mounts with supports coming from the sides .

I knew the floats were Japanese but I'd have thought Zero but noooo 
I always wanted to up the power of a Comet but at the time finding a 48th one wasn't easy..fact it still ain't.

Well PSR round 3 has been and gone and now this beast is 3/4 complete..I'll fit the floats later tonight when the booms are dry .
You'll find this funny but I was looking for something to lift the height of the floats and looking thru all the crap on my desk I found the spine from a A4 Skyhawk..so I took a gander and guys it matches the profile of the Aichi E13A16 Jake perfectly...there an exact match 
I don't have to reshape a thing for the floats to mount to the spine ...so after a wee bit of cutting so they'd sit better on the P38 they're glued and PSRed .
Next of the kit list is sorting out the bracing for the floats which are going to have to be lengthened as I want to mount then to the center pod 😀 😉
Now to think of a colour scheme for this 🤔
