With flash it looks silver grey, maybe unpolished aluminium.  Without flash it has a slight tan cast to it so more like stainless steel.
No blue.  Not to my eyes anyway.  Usual caveats apply regarding judgement of colours.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Thanks mate  ;D
That helps a heap ...under a different light I can see the aluminium your seeing but that also reminds me of Humbrols metalcote polished steel too....it's got the same sheen to it .
Then I'm quite happy knowing that when I paint this with PRU Blue it's gonna be right ✅️.
I'm going to have to buy some light gray primer cause this is far to dark .
I'm thinking of re-priming this in white ..then the blue will pop 😀
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

First pic looks blueish grey to me, the second one definitely aluminum. Could be a factor of the background colors influencing the camera and/or eyeball.

Yeah you can see why I took one pic with a flash and the other without .
To my eyes it's looked very bluey grayish but this morning under the light I use for air brushing it's aluminium ...trusting me eyes to colour I can not .

Any chance of pics in daylight?

That my friend is sprayed with Vallejo faded PRU blue and as for sunlight ..we've not seen much of that in days ..it's been rather damp here so to speck 😆
57mm yesterday morning alone . :o

Looking good, nonetheless.

You can see the roots of the original aircraft, but at the same time the changes make it more than a little different.

Onward!

Oh i'm not doubtng you Phill.  Maybe PRU Blue fades that way.
But this is Vallejo PRU Blue (the unfaded version) here on the underside of this Armstrong Whitworth Lamington.  I was sort of expecting something similar.

Doesn't detract from the build though.

May you see the sun again soon.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Yup, add another one to the grey side... looks about the same as tamiya's XF-19 sky grey.
