That undercarriage layout is fascinating 

Hi all,

Despite starting the Zero after the Spitfire the Zero is now ready for its primer coat. This is probably due to the Spitfire requiring considerably more PSR (it's still going on  ! )

Anyway here's a few shots of the general layout before committing to the paint shop. The prop and canopy have just been placed in position.

Pretty little critter, and clever landing gear arrangement, even if I would not like trying to land it....

There is going to be a bit of a delay on this one, I normally paint the canopies by hand but I looked at this one and something in my brain sead "nah !  This is as bad as the Harvard"  so I've ordered some canopy masks which will take a few days to arrive.

Meanwhile I'll get a mist coat of primer on it to show up any imperfections, I can guarantee there will be few of  those

The model builder looks at his perfectly PSRed creation..not a blemish to be seen..sprays the model with a gental coat of primer and its looks like Freddy Kruger went to town on it 😀
