Nah, just have the one set and have some electronical Maguffin-stuff happening where the engine fuel injector valves are graduated according to what each type needs for the given throttle position. Simples!   ;)

Very Tophe Thing happening there, Kit!

I've spent the last few evenings drawing up and printing the decals for the wings, some of which had to be 'invented' as the wings aren't exactly standard DC8 wings!

I've got them all on now, including the few on the undersides, and here's what it'll look like from above.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I'm having trouble picturing how big this is.  Got a scale reference cat handy?

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I hope those wings are well reinforced!

Sadly no, he died about a year ago, poor feller. :(

It's about 18" wingspan, across ALL the wings.

Minicraft DC8 wings, and all their recent airliner model wings in fact, all plug very nicely into three slots in the fuselage AND into a wing root shaped socket moulded into the fuselage as well! You don't really have to glue them at all, and I haven't as yet as I keep on plugging them in and un-plugging them to paint and decal various bits.

I probably will add a drop of Contacta on each root for the final assembly though.

Or leave them unpluggable to make it easier to transport to shows.

I may do just that, yes. Or maybe carry it in two halves.

Mind you, how we explain some of the more extreme models from this GB to the JMNs I'm not sure. None of them would have known Tophe or Robert well enough to be familiar with their work!  :o

Well, they missed out on something great. We can try to fill them in and hope they listen. I think of whiffs like these as art more than models. Maybe they can understand that.

Smaller than I thought.

Sorry about the SRC.
