Today I took delivery of a set of 1/24 PE, turned metal, and resin spoked wheels for the Fujimi Ferrari 250GTO.  By hobby Design, from BNA.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Today arrived an AML mirage 3 canopy and masks to replace the very fragile and absolute garbage one that comes in the PM mirage/Dagger/Nesher kits. Needless to say it completely, doesn't fit. At all. I even measured it up to the Kfir that Gondor is sending me a replacement canopy for, and it doesn't fit that either, so into the mirage bits box it goes. PM mirages may as well be a completely different aircraft, seriously. They are garbage. :banghead:

1/72 Hobbycraft Su-25 arrived yesterday. I'm aware the company can be a little hit and miss, but from a quick view of the plastic, it looks reasonably ok. Will see if I still hold that opinion once it's made...

Having noted the comments on a recent thread about Vampires, Mistrals & Aqulions etc. I picked up a pukka Heller Mistral from ebay at a reasonable price.

Why?

I'm just fascinated by those larger intakes and plan to use them on an upgraded Vampire or Venom.

The Vampire F.4 was a projected Nene-powered variant, IIRC.  Scope for some subtle JMN-baiting whiffery there, I'd say, Kit.

Bought on eBay this morning;

Tamiya masking tape,  grey primer and a acrylic paint bundle.

Green Stuff Putty

Superglue the cheapest and Revell glue.

1/72 Revell Vickers Wellington- I think that I have a resin conversion set to turn it into a transport version although I did see that someone has added the wings from a Lancaster on eBay and I do have a spare pair along with the twin tail fins.

I like that idea Dave, but haven't heard of it before. Thanks.  :thumbsup:

I've just ordered one of these from the manufacturer (in Ukraine);

Don't ask how much ( :o ) but let it suffice to say that the car, a different set of wheels for it & postage was not significantly more than purchasing just the car on-line from an Australian store.

I'm going to try to kit-bash it with one of these;

To make a pre-war staff car.

This should come close to the most expensive kit-bash ever, if I do it.

I will check very carefully to see if it can be done, first, & if it can't I'll just use the Fordson & bodge the backstory to suit (& build the '39 pick-up OoB).

It's such a pity that some of these less "sexy" kits aren't kitted in styrene. :-\

Gondor

Something cheap that I picked up on eBay. If I remember correctly the total including P&P was under a Tenner

Solid 3D printed and probably will be unable to stand on its own undercarriage legs. I bought it for parts so I am not bothered.
