Light pressure with the pencil, or you'll go through a lot of lead... .5 mill is quite delicate. Voice of Experience... ;)

Thankyou Rick  I have ordered a new pencil, and by the time it arrives, I should have fettled the badly fitting canopy that defies superglue :banghead:

I have quite a collection of various size mechanical pencils from the days when I did engineering drawings.
No leads for any of them though...
 :-\

I must admit i've never tried drawing on panel lines.  I may give it a go on the Tophstang as while i've sanded the wings smooth the fuselage retains all its original recessed panel lines.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

This project, the PM Nesher has been teetering on the edge of the bin several times, and I should really be better spending my time on other things. Detail is almost non existent, but you can sort of tell its a mirage iii....ish. If you ever get offered one, never speak to that person again.

Dymo label tape is my favorite scribing guide  in the US- much more rigid than heavy duty electrical tape, but also not flexible across the face.

Mate we all use the Dymo tape and yep it's the business when scribing but s waste when using a pencil...I use electrical tape for this cause it is just drawing..not cutting..it sucks for scribing ..but for drawing it's perfect.

Chris .5 and look also for a .7 mechanical pencil..that size is perfect for thick lines and as Rick mentioned about strength..this is won't break as easy.
This is a good idea for you to..buy several different brands of refill leads ..some are to easily broken as there to soft ..ive got one brand which is quite strong called Ain but also one called CTG ain't bad either 😉
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .

I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Just FINDING proper Dymo tape in the UK is a problem! No shops seem to sell it any longer, not even W H Smiths, so it's 'on-line' or nowhere.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
