Thanks guys    ;D  ;D

Surprisingly these didn't take anywhere as long as the front track sets ...neither did the jewel bolts ..my home made styrene cutter sorted out the angle and this ending in a massive fluke..I cut exactly the right amount of track shoes 😁😁

Good find there DUKWy.  Just shows we should keep our eyes peeled at all times as you never know where you'll find something usefull.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Thinkin' outside the box? We can't be havin' any of that, young man! Where would it all end? People'd start thinkin' they can make things up! :o

Nice brain agility there, Phill!

Great solution for the bolts! Have you seen the https://www.scalemates.com/search.php?fkSECTION[""]=All&q=bolts*&fkSCALENORMALISED[]=%221:00035%22&fkCOMPNAME[]=%22Meng%20Model%22Meng bolt sets? Good size selection, relatively cheap, styrene so easy to glue and enough bolts to last a very long time.

Tichy train group sells all kinds of bolts and rivet heads in different scales. Only hard part is figuring out what size you need in what scale.

Nice find on the plastic jewels. Bet that saved a lot of postage.

Yeah, if they also gave you the physical size of the things it would help... but good product, nevertheless.

Some of the sets appear to cover several sizes so that would help.

My brain works more along the lines of "I need it to physically be 1mm in diameter... which one do I use?" But I have what I need for now, so it's a non-issue. Until I need more, of course...

Thank ya guys   ;D .

Frank I'm very familiar with Mengs line of nuts and bolts..love em ..and that's exactly what I wanted to use but I live in nz ..where you used to be able to buy these sets without a problem  .but they only ever carried one packet of each size and as Rick mentioned size matters and I needed 1 to 1.2mm at the biggest .
I'd need 3 sets of the small sets for this at around 45 notes with postage  :banghead:
These jewels ..2 bucks 50 a packet and brought from sells damn near  everything store down the road in Thames  ;D
We used to call em $2 shops but they ain't anymore
My only problem now is I brought 4 packets of these  jewels and I didn't even use one 🙃

All the info you blokes have offered is epic cause now I'll be getting a bloody good selection of nuts and bolts going ..they are so damn handy   😁😁

'Cheap' being relative, of course...
Like I said on various occasions; once they get us used to paying $3 or more per litre, we'll be happy with any lesser amount...

And it's going to be... interesting... if their idea of lower prices at the pump and every road vehicle paying Road User Charges comes to pass.
Lower prices at the pump? Only for so long. :banghead:

To quote the great Bill Murray "That's a fact Jack"
The road user charges ..if brought in..will make the government here even more enemies than it already has and that cheaper fuel is a myth Rick...fuels not been cheaper as ya know for well over a decade..it's been over 2.50 a ltr for as long as I can remember...super fast to go up ..like everything here and super slow to go down .
