If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Another cracker -

I do like the idea of a Spontaneous Combustion engine, and may at some point steal it for a very, VERY different context....

Thanks folks.

H. Some rocket motors use fuels which react explosively when combined.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

IIRC such fuels were considered essential for the Apollo Ascent stage in case normal igniters didn't work having got down there.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The term is "hypergolic."  Some such are used for thrusters in spacecraft.  A classic example is sodium in water.

I believe Tophe would have been tickled pink at these tribute aircraft.
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

Robomog

This is beautifully bonkers. Love this one too

Beautiful and totally mad!

That goes both for the model and the back story.

Yep - hypergolics.
Upside: guaranteed ignition, and usually room termperature storable.
Downside: usually HORRIBLE from a safety POV: corrosive, insidious, poisonous, you name it.
