Absolutely, I may even put some camera ports in the belly. There's an area behind the engines and forward of the #3 crew member that's in just about the right place too.

May I suggest rounding the wing tips.  Similar to the originals.

I started off by doing that, but it didn't look right with the almost equi-tapered outer wing sections, so I re-filed them to the almost Brit shape I've got now.

Of course with that length of wing there's scope for almost ANY shape...................

But if you filed and re-filed the wingtips, now they are SHORTER, so you NEED to lengthen them again...

Big improvement with the longer wings. It looks like it would have been a PSR queen without the extra wingspan, so not really that much extra work?

Actually I think you're right Fred.

Looking at it as a whole, and not just at the wings on their own, it makes more sense with rounded wing tips to match the tailplane, so that's what I've done now,

It already WAS a PSR queen, specially at the wing joints. The F-94 wings were quite a bit thinner than the He-119 ones, so I added a short styrene spar to stiffen the joint and aligned the upper surfaces of the wings. Then I added a pair of short padding sections on the underside and PSR'd them to death!

Hopefully the last PSR session has just taken place, fingers crossed.

Originally I'd masked up the WHOLE cockpit area while I was priming it, the thought of masking all those umpteen tri-angular windows was too much to think about (there's over 30 of them!) but now I've got this far it IS time to mask them.

What a hopeless task it is, so far it's taken me 2 DAYS and I'm not even half way through it, the tiny bits of masking tape that have to be stripped off before painting just don't want to come off without pulling the adjacent masked bit off with them!

In frustration I checked the Web to see if anyone actually did a set of masks for this bizarre looking aeroplane, and amazingly they do! There's a company in Canada, Kitmasx, who makes a set exactly for this Valom kit, so I've thrown money at it and bought a set.

So work on this will come to halt for a short while.

I admire your attempt at masking this but don't blame you for buying a set of masks which may well not fit exactly. 

Here's how far it's got so far, and it'll pause for a bit till the combined Canadian and UK post offices do their thing.
