I seem to have stumbled on a Heller Concorde, the 1/125 version.

The initial thought is to scaleorama to 1/72, and then redo the nose and possibly engine installation, making it into a long range interceptor, but that will be some time in the future.
On a side note, the box art is very nice indeed, as are many of these old Heller kits.

You could try to mate it with 1:72 B-58 parts?

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

It's the 8in (203mm) version of this machine..the barrel is to short in 8in so 175mm here we come  ;D

Go British 7.2-inch (180mm (+/-)) howitzer. ;)
😆 🤣
I've already got 2 models with that monster gun  ;D
This model kinda shows ya how much I've wanted this vehicle..the chassis is already built
.the 175mm gun has been dickied with to mount to the 8in gun ..still working on that ...no turret interior at all ..at some point there might be but not right now .
Not a lot of parts
Meh, go 12-inch or go home.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

There were some nice ones. Heller took an almost "Impressionist" approach with some of them.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I swapped 2 and 3/4 F-4 phantom kits with a friend of mine, an old airfix, a revell rf-4, and an AMT/Ertyl. He sent me an Italeri B-57G, a Jaguar E  and a Hasegawa Tornado F 3. Very nice indeed.

Drew this up many years ago, forgot to add canards in the side view. Went with a fuselage engine with side intakes. Steal it if you want.

Move the engine "pods" inboard and lengthen them like the Tu-144 prototype.

Or maybe put them all together in a single installation like the Sukhoi T-4 and XB-70.
Note that while many people claim(scream) that the T-4 design was stolen from the B-70,
it actually looks more like Concorde and the Tu-144.

Too many options! My mind is overheating!  ;D

I really should try to finish the Scandinavians first. Not much left, really. Or - it shouldn't have been, hadn't my OCD triggered on that old SAAB 105/Sk60C that now is being PSR'ed into reasonable cleanliness before being repainted and redecalled.

On my way home from the Lakes I popped into Lakeland Toys and Hobbies. Not a very big range of kits in there but I did get something...

Tamiya 1/35 M41 Walker Bulldog
I've always liked this light tank since seeing it in Beatties in Romford in 1989 but back then it was out of my budget. This time round though? The price hasn't changed much but my budget has definitely improved!

Opened the box up last night and it's a superb looking kit, better than some of the current Airfix or Revell offerings. It's even better when you realise it was released in 1969 when Man Walked On The Moon!  ;D

It looks very easy to build with great surface detail and isn't overengineered like modern kits. I will look at getting an aftermarket metal gun barrel as the 2 halves of a drain pipe in the box look problematic.
