Quote from: Gondor on Yesterday at 12:52:48 PMGood news, My mother is home so I shall visit her tomorrow after work if she is ok with that. I should send an email to check first though.

Modelling-wise I have managed to find suitable decals for the Firefly. Not 100% sold on which operator though.

   , indeed.

Good news about decals and conversion stuff. But great news about your mum, Alastair.
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

Good to hear your mum's home Alastair

Quote from: Gondor on Yesterday at 01:40:13 PMI was thinking that perhaps I should transfer all the conversion and detail sets that I have into one box,

Gondor

That's a good idea. I do something similar with all my spare parts etc. Especially the weapons, different boxes for each country and period etc.

Quote from: Gondor on Yesterday at 01:40:13 PMThis also prompted me to write it down so I don't forget what I am planning to do.

Gondor

Another good one. However I started something similar a fair while ago and it now covers over 30 A4 pages of quite small handwriting. I'm thinking of burying it in a box so that the archeologists in 2400 AD can have fun trying to decipher its meaning
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I was talking about just separating Colin's resin items from all the rest of the after-market items I have in boxes, I already keep his decal sets separate from the rest.

I am using a Word document which I keep permanently open on my PC so that if I think of something I don't have to look for it. Currently on page three with only a couple of items completed.

I tried that a while back, but they don't make boxes THAT big..........................  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I should have been more explicit. I am thinking of moving all the conversion and detail sets by Freightdog into the one box rather than have them in the boxes, three, along with all the others I have by different manufacturers.

I always keep the kit in its own box then extra parts in their own bag or box separately. That way I don't forget expensive aftermarket stuff. If I forget what the project was then it probably was not going to happen anyway.
