Since most white metals contain zinc it should be ok with the galvanized wire. If the wire is surrounded by epoxy glue it will be protected from moisture and will be ok.

That should work well Guy...galvanized wire is zinc covered and your figure is pretty much made of zinc and lead 😀
Yep it can be made with other metals aswell but that  can be when it was made and by who .
You'll be sweet mate 😉 👍

However, rendered in German its a different matter.

Dunkler Weihnachtsritter

I mixed "grim and "dark" and was getting W4OK vibes.  Dark Angels in red robes.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

This figure I'll get to at some point is going to be a Chaos Knight..which of the 4 gods he'll kneel  to I'm not sure yet ..it'll be Age of Sigmar time wise.

And that, my friends, is a completely incomprehensible language to me.

No, he's part of the Inner Circle of the Dark Angels Chapter.  Half of the chapter turned to chaos, they managed to keep it secret. He's one of the highest rank that are privy to the deepest darkest secrets.

Many of the Dark Angels wear robes, most of them are white or green, to indicate they've been inducted into a certain level of trust. The burgundy ones indicated the highest level.

I've got one of the large 1/12 McFarlane scale action figures of a Dark Angel. I'm hoping to convert him to look similar to above, but probably in white robes. I'm wanting to get into miniature painting more, so I'll be watching this thread and your chaos knight with interest.

Guy, if you want to get into Age of Sigmar or Warhammer 40K lore there are several websites and dozens of books, as well as tons of Reddit and forum pages.  Be prepared to loose large chunks of your life!

Latest update:

Four parts being held together by five pins, gravity & the power of Wishful Thinking. ;)

There have already been a few errors,- two where they can't be seen & one which will require a little bit of putty to hide when I get to that stage of the build.

So, overall, happy with what I've done, so far.

Wise decision mate not getting into Warhammer 40k or Age of Sigmar....it's an interesting subject for sure ..Mossie was slightly wrong about the book count tho..there's hundreds apon hundreds of books and I have zero amount of em 😆
They do have the magazines called White Dwarf which are actually quite good..cheap..great stories but the best parts are the figures..painting techniques and the like...those I do get .
A while ago I scored 2 lovely piles of Warhammer parts which I wanted for my tyranid mutant carnifex..which I'll continue to paint once I decide which hive it'll belong to or just invent a new hive....those parts are also going to be great use with my chaos knight 😀
Might just have a tinker with that today 🤔

Paperclips.
They're always about, easily worked, and approx 1mm.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
